The goal of this project was to develop a user-friendly mobile application for a number of restaurant chains that are not part of the larger Family of Eateries brand. Getting the functionality exactly right to optimize the app's UI was the key challenge of this project. Once one of the eateries was finished, it was just a matter of adapting the design to fit the particular chain of eateries.

The reservation page presented a challenge in part. It was challenging to get everything to function properly for that page, but after some critique and study, it emerged as a contemporary and straightforward page. The creation of the branding and app design took up the majority of this project. Each restaurant's colours and visuals were carefully chosen to complement their respective stories and themes.

To get all of the concepts organised and functioning together, the process began with planning and sketching. During this step, research was quite beneficial in helping with the logos for each restaurant. Designing some abstract images with hidden significance was made easier by knowing what each name actually meant. The main layout design was made in Adobe XD so that the motions and transitions could be planned and tested prior to the coding stage when the app was fully designed. My time was ultimately much reduced by Adobe XD's assistance with the planning. The coding procedure began after a more drawn-out designing and planning phase. There was a brief loading screen with the primary logo appearing which then went into the restaurant choice page.

The user can use the restaurant of their choice at any moment using this app. Each restaurant began with a "about" page that detailed its history, location, and operating hours. The highlighted menu items are listed with their pricing and descriptions on the next page. The menu items on this page seem much better than they already do because of the enticing design. The reservation page, which includes functionality that lets the user select time, date, and number of persons, is displayed after that page.  There is a hamburger menu on the side of the app that provides more details and lets you return back to the main selection page.

The goal of this project was to develop a functional app with an easy navigable interface for seeing a variety of eateries. In the end, all of the phases combined to produce a successful app. Through this interactive software, the talents from many different areas of design and media were displayed.
