About Project and Project Overview

The term "Digital signage" describes a variety of display methods, including LCD monitors, LCD walls (or "video walls"), projection, and LCD monitors, that are used to show digital images, movies, menus, marketing messages, and webpages. In this project, I used servers, phpmyadmin, and php code to design and create a digital signage for Durham College. A logo pane, a weather pane, a YouTube pane, a news pane, a tickertape pane, and a motion graphics pane were all included in the panel. This project took about 12 weeks to complete to get this statge.

The Process

I proceeded by building the database with the relevant data for each component of the weather panel. Next, in order to make it simpler to add or remove data from the aforementioned database, I developed an admin site utilising the mysql, php, and java script code. It was time to start creating and incorporating elements, as well as connecting the panel to the database so it could retrieve the necessary data when I had finished these steps. The motion graphics window needed to be animated in order to make it more engaging than merely static images after the planning and style were complete.
